This page is deducated to detailing the general terms and conditions of your use of this website, of the services being offered and the relationship between us.

Liability Notice

By the nature of our position, facilitating the transporation of your item(s) from one country to another, Flyova Couriers Ltd is not liable for loss or damage to goods, mail, or shipments prior to the item(s) being registered in our system as being passed into our custody. In the event that your packages have been damaged due to inproper packaging (based on the item requirements and packaging best practices) and manufacturing defects, we strongly recommend contacting the merchant to discuss possible solutions.

In the event that your item(s) is "not as described", we strongly advise filing a dispute with the merchant/manufacturer.

For large and fragile packages, there is a handling fee. Larger pachages at times require specialised equipment and man power to move and as a result the rental cost and labour will rise.

At no point, ceteris parebus, will Flyova Couriers Limited be a mediator in dispute claims. If needs be, we will be willing to share details concerning when your package(s) entered into our custody, and delivered to the agreed destination. Nothing beyond those registered facts will be shared in a dispute claim.

Customs

With the sensitive nature of transporting items from one country to the next, we are bound to the regulations of customs agencies.

Items with a price valuation exceeding US$100 will be subjected to customs processing fees.

Note: Jamaica Customs will calculate custom related fees based on the presumed cost of the item; your item could incur unjust customs fees. To avoide this, we strongly recommend sharing all invoices upon being notified that your item(s) has been delivered to our warehouse.

If there is cause for suspician, your item(s) will be subjected to inspection by Jamaica Customs.

Prohibited Items:

  1. Human corpses, human organs or body parts, human and animal embryos, or cremated or disinterred human remains.
  2. Explosives or items resembling a bomb, hand grenade or other explosive device.
  3. Firearms, weaponry and their parts.
  4. Bump fire stocks and other rapid-fire trigger activators.
  5. Any firearm or other weapon manufactured using a 3-D printing machine.
  6. 3-D printing machines designed, or that function exclusively, to manufacture firearms.
  7. Perishable foodstuffs and foods and beverages requiring refrigeration or other environmental control.
  8. Live animals including insects.
  9. Animal carcasses.
  10. Money (coins, cash, currency, paper money and negotiable instruments equivalent to cash such as endorsed stocks, bonds and cash letters).
  11. Hazardous waste.
  12. Shipments that require us to obtain any special license or permit for transportation, importation or exportation.

If these items are sent to Flyova Couriers Limited, they will be rejected and set to be returned to the merchant, at the cost of the sender.

Unsorted Packages

Our systems are managed by linking customers and their packages with a Mailbox Number. Without your Mailbox Number, your package(s) is virtually untracable and will require extra labour to track and link the item(s) to you, the owner. All costs associated with this relinking/sorting process will be levied onto the you, the customer. To avoid this extra cost, it is imperative to add your CIN to the mailing address being shared with the respected merchant - preferably in address line 2.

You can find your full shipping address in Dashboard after you log in.

Overdue/Unclaimed Items

With the scarcity of storage space comes the restriction of holding packages for an extended period of time. In the event that a customer's package(s) has been sitting in our office for seven (7) days, the price associated with clearing the package will begin to inflate.
